Will the Harley fit on my Skid Steer Loader?

YES, any skid steer loader from any manufacturer within the last 10-15 years (Including Case, New Holland, John Deere, CAT, Bobcat, Mustang, Toyota, Positrack, Huski and many more) can run the Harley M6H. Some units with unconventional attachment plates (such as Toyota) need a special adaptor.

Even the new and very large Skid Steer Loaders (100HP +) can utilise the new MX series rakes, especially heavy duty, the MX series rakes were designed with the extreme weight and HP of these Skiddies in mind.

How long do the teeth last, what are they made of ?

The Teeth on the Harley Rake are solid carbide and when combined with the unique “blunt tooth design” do not break or wear, in fact, the rotor will need changing before the teeth wear out. On average a operator can expect 6-10 years out of a rotor before replacement, at which time a replacement will cost around $3500.00 Incl GST depending on the size of the unit you own.

A roadside contractor who is constantly working in extremely abrasive blue metal, stones are rocks could expect about 1600 kms before wear would be noticed on the drum .. extremely impressive.

What about other wearing parts?

With the Harley there are virtually no wear items, the life of teeth and bearings (if greased) is measured in years, while chain case bottoms and box ends are protected by carbide facing.

Drive chain lubrication and replacing an inexpensive drive chain tensioner will likely take a few minutes per year.

There should be no requirement for dealer servicing.

Is the Harley a Rotary Hoe?

NO, a Rotary hoe mixes rocks and debris into the soil and buries them, while the Harley Powered Rake clears rocks and debris while conditioning the soil.

The Harley will lightly cultivate to a depth of around 2.5 inches (55mm) and should not be compared to a Rotary Hoe, the Harley is far more with great versatility.
